DeJuan Green was born on May 13, 1980 in Atlanta.He stands 5 feet 11 inches and weighs 205 lbs. He was a young runner who has been on Raiders practice for past two seasons. He made an impression in NFL Europe this Spring with Hamburg Sea Devils. He also rushed for 216 yards on 57 carries with three touchdowns ad added seven receptions for 52 yards.

He attended highschool at Raines High School in Atlanta where he played football and ran track. He had played in the Super Prep All-American, First team All-State, All-Area, All-District and All-Conference. In his 1997 junior season, he led the team to a state championship, rushing for 920 yards on a team that went 15-0. And ran for 1,818 yards as a senior in 1998 and scored 22 touchdowns. He also won a state title in the 100-meter dash.

Attended College at the Uiversity of South Florida where he shared ruing back duties as a senior. In 2000, he played in five games for bulldogs and carried the ball 12 times for 44 yards with a long of 14 vs. New Mexico State.

He played two seasons at Georgia before transferring to USF in 2001. He finished with 61 carries for 192 yards and one touchdown and had seven catches for 28 yards in 2002.

He made a remarkable season-high stats of 14 carries for 33 yards at Oklahoma. And had his season-best of 43 yards on 11 carries in win over Southern Miss. A single touchdown came in win over No. 25 Bowling Green. He also had one reception for 16 yards against Arkansas and Played in six games as freshman at Georgia and finished season with 13 carries for eight yards.

In 2004, he spent training camp with the Raiders before being released and spent season on Silver and Black practice squad. He signed to the practice squad and spent the entire season with the Raiders. He was originally signed with the Raiders as an undrafted rookie free agent.

He stayed with the Raiders during training camp and preseason in 2005. He spent season on the Raiders' practice squad and after being released prior to starts of regular season.
